Complex Care Assistant - Part Time

We're recruiting an experienced, dedicated and compassionate Care Worker to join our nurse-led team at Home Healthcare Connected to provide care to our client in Whitley Bay (NE25).

You'll be providing care and support to our male client, whose individual needs include:

• 2:1 Tracheostomy, ventilated
• Cough assist
• Gastrostomy

Working hours available:

• 1 x Part-time Days and Nights Care Worker
• 12-hour shifts: 7:30am – 7:30pm (days) and 7:30pm – 7:30am (nights)
• Alternate weekends required

We provide a comprehensive clinical training and induction programme, overseen by professional nurses, to ensure you have the skills and confidence to succeed in your role working as a Care Worker in the Specialist Team. We are looking for people who have excellent people skills, are great communicators and can work effectively in a team as well as independently.

Key Requirements:

• Driver’s licence and access to a vehicle
• You will be subject to a DBS/PVG check and references
